The Plantation Overproof Rum OFTD (Old Fashioned Traditional Dark) is a blend of excellent rums from Guyana, Jamaica and Barbados. The rum has a wonderful mahogany color. The bouquet is intense and with very precise notes of coffee, oranges, plums, jams and truffles. The taste of the OFTD also has much to offer. Full notes of caramel cream, chocolate and vanilla are replaced by cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, oak and molasses with pleasant smoky accents. A long and lingering finale with notes of dark chocolate, caramel and cloves completes the taste experience. The empty glass contains notes of brown cane molasses, as well as oak and plums. The ideal rum for grogs and mixing cocktails!
