The 2022 Grand-Puy-Lacoste is a standout vintage, showcasing the elegance and power of a classic Pauillac. Despite being the earliest harvest on record, the wine shows no signs of drought stress—thanks to a timely rainfall in mid-August.
It opens with a deep crimson colour and aromas of ripe cherries, blackcurrant, and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is vibrant and refined, with juicy cassis and raspberry notes supported by fresh acidity. Sensual and polished, this wine is beautifully balanced, approachable in its youth, yet promises excellent ageing potential.
