Beautiful ruby colour with cherry-red nuances. The primary nose has delicate smoky and woody notes which move on to fruity notes of lightly spiced raspberry and plum. The mouth is pleasantly supple with noticeable but well-blended tannins. Pleasant minerality on a good structure of plum and a lovely aromatic persistence. Ideal for accompanying finely-prepared tender red meat dishes, feathered game and dishes cooked in wine sauce, veal cutlets with shallots, a partridge terrine and cheeses.
