Tagaro Verdazzo Vermentino

Tagaro Verdazzo Vermentino

A fresh and elegant white wine from Puglia, made from 100% Vermentino. The vineyards are located in Puglia and are around 15–25 years old, planted in sandy and clay-rich soils that contribute to the wine’s freshness and distinctive Mediterranean character.

Produced by Tagaro, a family winery from the heart of Puglia that combines generations of winemaking tradition with a modern approach. The grapes are carefully destemmed and pressed under hyper-reductive conditions to preserve their freshness and aromas. After static clarification at low temperature, fermentation takes place for around 15 days at 14°C. The wine is then aged for four months in stainless steel with bâtonnage, giving it extra texture and balance.

Pale straw yellow with delicate green reflections, Verdazzo offers inviting aromas of peach and apricot, complemented by subtle floral notes. Fresh, savoury and well structured on the palate, with lively acidity and a clean, elegant finish.

A versatile dry white wine, ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, fish dishes, risotto, soft cheeses and white meats.

Serving: at 10–12°C in Riesling/Sauvignon Blanc glasses.
